What Are The Advantages Of Changing My Password Regularly?

Well, if you always use the same password, use it for everything and never change it you make it pretty easy for people to guess. Someone who's looking over your shoulder when you at a public computer will have access to all your accounts. If you change your passwords regularly you make it more difficult for people to guess what your password really is. And if they manage to guess what it is there is a greater likelihood that you have changed it when they try to use it.

Changing your password often makes it more difficult to crack for hackers, and that's a good thing!

What Are The Hassles Of Changing Passwords Regularly?

Well, if you do it right you change your password once a month, and you never use the same password twice! In addition, you never use the same password on multiple accounts. The problem is that you will soon have to remember a whole lot of passwords! This is a nuisance to say the least, but I'm afraid that's just the way it is these days.

How Often Should I Change My Passwords?

I recommend doing so at least once a month. Doing it once every three months is better than nothing, but don't use the same password any longer than that!

The rule of thumb is that the more often you change your passwords the harder it is for a hacker to crack it!

Security is one of the major issues in today's life. A DVR (Digital video recorder) security camera system is used to provide security. A digital video recorder (DVR) is a device that accepts analog signals from a security camera, converts it into digital format, and stores it on a hard drive (or on some other media). DVR also has a user interface to manage the captured videos. A DVR system also allows you to do setting of motion detection feature and controlling of PTZ security cameras. A DVR security system records the video signals transmitted by a CCTV camera. These signals are then used for documentation and detection procedures. With all the above mentioned advantages, a Security DVR system has some draw backs also. The draw backs are:

· Due to high compression rate, digital video occupies lot of space on the hard disk and hence the hard disk is easily filled up. There are few DVR security cameras systems, which uses motion detection feature to solve this problem to an extent. Motion detectors alert the camera for deciding the compression rate of the picture (that is when a picture with high compression is required and when with low compression).

· The other drawback with DVR systems is image distortion. Image distortion occurs, if the camera adjustment is not done properly at the time of set up.

· Output of DVR security camera systems can be a problem. Different DVR security cameras may require different software to view the file. Some DVR security cameras require codec installation to view the files. Some DVR cameras require a media player which is supported by that DVR security camera system. In some cases, DVR security camera system has its own media player and solves this problem.

DVR security camera systems are latest in surveillance technology. These cameras provide good quality pictures and videos. DVR security cameras are cost-effective. There are two major types of home burglar alarm system. The first is the traditional hard wired home alarm which has wire connections to all sensors and keypads. The second type is the wireless home security system which uses wireless transmission of data from sensors to the alarm. There is much discussion as to which of these is the best home alarm system. Each has its own proponents but we feel that the latest wireless systems have many advantages and we believe this to be the best choice for most homeowners and offices.

The hard wired traditional home alarm requires all the sensors from doors and windows to be connected to the central control panel by cables. The installation of a hard wired system necessitates cutting into walls and removal of skirting and floor boards in order to run the cables. This obviously entails a lot of work and repairs to walls after the installation. The net result is high cost and much disturbance of the home environment. In contrast to this a wireless home security system can be installed in an hour or two of easy work even by an amateur, do it yourself, installer.

There is really little need to hire a professional installer for this work because all it entails is setting up the sensors where you want them, and mounting the central receiver in a suitable spot. You then need to test all the sensor signals, to make sure they are working, and the job is essentially done. If you feel better about having a professional do the work of course then that is the way you should go. You will have peace of mind knowing that the job has been done properly and because of the ease of installation, of a wireless home security system, the actual installation costs should be quite reasonable.

Performance of either the hard wired home alarm system or the wireless security system is equal in all respects. There is however an advantage to the wireless alarm system in that it is battery powered. This means that an intruder cannot put it out of action by cutting wires. Should the phone line be cut the wireless home security system can respond by cellphone technology to the authorities. Cutting the phone line outside or inside the house will not deactivate the system.

Taking all these things into consideration it is fairly obvious that a wireless home security alarm system has many advantages over a hard wired system.
